Sadler’s Wells Culture Club encourages you to discover new passions (or develop existing ones) through dance and the performing arts.
There are talks and workshops that explore creativity, wellbeing, dance and the artistic programme at Sadler’s Wells.
We meet from 2 pm – 3 pm on Fridays. It’s open to anyone 18+, no matter what your ability or experience may be.
There will be a limited number of tickets available on the day, offered on a first come first serve basis. We recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment. Please get in touch with learning@sadlerswells.com if you have any questions about Culture Club.

Join our Artistic Director Sir Alistair Spalding and Associate Artistic Director Rob Jones as they introduce our upcoming programme for Sadler’s Wells Theatre and Sadler’s Wells East.

Ballet Black movement workshop
Friday 14 November
Ballet Black has transformed the landscape of British ballet, creating a prominent platform for dancers and artists of Black and Asian descent, as well as establishing a new canon of ballet repertoire that resonates with audiences around the world.
Bhungane Mehlomakulu, dancer with Ballet Black, joins Culture Club to teach a ballet workshop.
SLANT Q&A and movement workshop
Friday 21 November
Associate Artist Jules Cunningham, with Company Producer Kat Bridge, will join Culture Club to share insights from SLANT and lead a movement workshop and host a short Q&A.
Marking five years since the original production was due to premiere on the Sadler’s Wells stage but was cut short by the pandemic, it’s back. SLANT is part of a triple bill to celebrate the music of composer Nico Muhly with Britten Sinfonia playing live.
