L-E-V Chapter 3: The Brutal Journey of the Heart
Play Trailer…things get broken, and sometimes they get repaired, and in most cases, you realize that no matter what gets damaged, life rearranges itself to compensate for your loss, sometimes wonderfully.

Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar’s acclaimed Israeli company, L-E-V, returns to Sadler’s Wells Theatre with Chapter 3: The Brutal Journey of the Heart, the final instalment in the Love Cycle trilogy. In a follow up from Eyal’s previous works, OCD LOVE and Love Chapter 2, nine dancers embark on an intense journey through the ups and downs of love and relationships.
Featuring striking costume design from Christian Dior Couture creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, and an ethereal score from regular L-E-V musical collaborator Ori Lichtik.
Image description: Nine dancers wear full body suits matching their various skin tones, giving the impression that they’re naked, and their bodies entirely covered in delicate black tattoos of foliage and landscapes. They snuggle together in a tight line facing right, hip to hip. The dancer at the front has a red heart shape on his chest and leans back, lips pursed, as if about to kiss the dancer behind him.
Love Chapter 3 is co-produced by Sadler’s Wells, Ruhrtriennale, Christian Dior Couture, Julidans, Montpellier Danse, Torinodanza Festival, Chapel Hill, Bold Tendencies, Young Turks
