YFX 2026 Youth Dance Symposium

This event has passed

A day of talks and discussions for professionals working in or connected to youth dance

Back for its second year at the heart of YFX, this is a day for the people working at the heart of youth dance: educators, artists, producers, venues, youth workers and everyone in between.

Expect a dynamic mix of sector insight and real conversation. To kick things off we’ll hear from speakers from across the sector, as well as those who matter most – young people themselves. This includes speakers from National Youth Dance Company England, Ramps on the Moon, Far From the Norm, DanceSyndrome, AkomaAsa Performing Arts Academy, Hofesh Shechter Company and RISE Youth Dance.

Then in the afternoon YOU decide what we discuss in the space, whether it’s an issue to unpick, a provocation or a burning question, hosted by Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe.

The symposium aims to champion brilliant work happening nationwide, build connections across the youth dance community, create space for collaboration and inspiration and explore how we can better support each other and our young people.

Ticket price includes lunch and refreshments.
