Secrets of the Treaties

House of Absolute are a collective of multidisciplinary artists, specialising in the dance styles of waacking, contemporary, hip hop, locking, krump and popping.
Their short film aims to uplift the voices of womxn and marginalized genders in telling stories of a shared oppression, displacement and struggle whilst finding ourselves in a world that so often leaves us ‘Othered’.

In our fluidity, we defy cultural norms that contribute to the status quo. We shake the foundations of society by shining a light on stories otherwise not heard. We bring a rawness, an ingenuity, and a different way of thinking to this creative challenge.
