Rose Choreographic School is a two year project for 13 participants.

The school is led by Martin Hargreaves with workshops, lectures and discussions curated by the Artistic Faculty, Alesandra Seutin, Trajal Harrell and William Forsythe.

Participants have the opportunity to follow their own individual research projects with access to studio space, mentoring and research budget. A series of podcasts, on-site workshops, research presentations and publications will open up the school to broader audiences and the public.

The inaugural programme will start in June 2024 and run until May 2026. Applications will be open in September 2023.

Based at Sadler’s Wells East in Stratford, part of the new cultural quarter of East Bank alongside the V&A, UAL’s London College of Fashion, UCL, and the BBC.

Rose Choreographic School is also working in partnership with Goldsmiths, University of London to support a fully funded CHASE (Consortium for the Humanities and the Arts South-East England) collaborative doctoral award on “The four-plus Dimensional Materialities of the Choreographic”. Applications for the doctorate are via Goldsmiths, and the successful applicant will be based at both Goldsmiths and Rose Choreographic School.
